Middle Tennessee-based Bible teacher and author Barbie Loflin has signed with WordCrafts Press. Loflin will be moving her catalog of devotional and Bible study materials to the publisher.
Loflin’s tender collection of personal inspirational stories, Morning Mist: Stories from the Water’s Edge, originally published by Poured Out Ministries, is the first of her writings to appear under the WordCrafts Press imprint. This compilation of short stories and prose seeks to expose the sacred in the ordinary and mundane. Poignant and sweetly penetrating, Morning Mist captures the sublime and the supernatural in simple story form, serving to confirm our suspicion that our journeys of faith are quite comfortingly similar.
The founder of Poured Out Ministries, Barbie Loflin serves as Assistant Pastor of Springhouse Worship & Arts Center, a creative, thriving, multicultural body of believers just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. An author and composer, her work has appeared in New York Times best sellers, and can be found in bookstores across the nation.
Barbie lives with her husband Hal in middle Tennessee. They have three grown children, Aaron, Matt and Kayti.
