Her company downsizes at the same time that her mother gets a devastating health diagnosis. To be there for her mom means Pam will have to relocate to the other side of the state, which mean uprooting the girls from the home they love, the friends they have grown up with, and their familiar school.
The stresses of caring for a sick parent, dealing with a rebelling daughter, and just trying to pay the bills brings Pam to her knees to seek wisdom from the God she wishes she was closer to.
