A Shepherd’s Lullaby

Asa is the youngest boy in a family of shepherds, and he is usually assigned tasks no one else wants to do, like finding little lambs that might have wandered away from the flock. He is often the first to work and the last to eat, and he often feels a bit lonely. But then comes a whisper on the wind and a strange visitor in the night with news too wonderful to be believed. Asa joins the other shepherds to trek to Bethlehem to see this great thing the stranger announced.
